Xiaomi Auto Sells 300,000 Units in First 15 Months Since Delivery of First Mass Production Vehicle, Promotes Development of Core Technologies

Xiaomi, China’s leading smartphone and consumer electronics company, is developing its automotive business through its subsidiary Xiaomi Auto.
The company launched its first mass-produced BEV, the SU7, in March 2024, and in the 15 months from the start of deliveries in April of the same year to July 2025, the cumulative number of vehicles delivered exceeded 300,000 units.

As of October 2025, Xiaomi Auto offers the SU7 series and SU7 Ultra in the E segment, as well as the YU7 series of D-segment SUVs.
The SU7 series launched in March 2024 will be priced between 215,900,000-299,900 yuan (approximately 4,486,000-6,231,000 yen), and the YU7 series launched in June 2025 will be priced between 253,500-329,900 yuan (approximately 526,700-6,854,000 yen), with the aim of expanding its share in the mid- to high-end BEV market. The company aims to expand its share in the mid- to high-end BEV market.

Xiaomi Auto is also focusing on the development of core BEV technologies.
Xiaomi Auto is developing drive motors jointly with Bosch-funded United Electronics Corporation and China-based Huichuan Technology (Inovance), and has also developed a motor with a maximum speed of 27,000 rpm on its own.
In the driver assistance system, end-to-end technology will be introduced in February 2025, enabling automatic parking after arrival in addition to driving assistance from the point of departure to the destination.
