There has also been a marked increase in the use of the latest technologies, such as generative AI, to improve the accuracy of social engineering attacks and support malicious network activities such as misinformation campaigns.
On the other hand, interactive attack methods with hands-on keyboards are on the rise compared to automated attacks, with a 35% increase over the previous year, which is an interesting trend.
