What results were achieved by making vulnerabilities visible and strengthening the operation system?

Kasei Kogyo, which has developed as a pioneer since its establishment, was faced with security issues while promoting DX.

In the vulnerability response operations (maintenance of cyber hygiene), vulnerabilities detected in cloud and on-premise systems and network devices were investigated to determine whether or not they were affected,
The process from registering vulnerabilities in the ledger to investigating whether or not they were affected relied on visual inspection and manual work.
The manager also lacked the information to determine whether or not to respond to the vulnerability, and had to follow different procedures for actual response and related applications.

Therefore, in order to detect potential security risks in the system, the company worked to establish a system that would enable strategic IT investments while minimizing the number of members to perform vulnerability response tasks.
As a result of this effort, the company was able to visualize vulnerabilities, automate the generation of analysis reports, and track work history.

The company was able to reduce the workload from vulnerability detection to decision-making by approximately 60 days per year, and reduce the infrastructure monitoring workload by approximately 114 man-days per year.
