U.S. Trump Administration’s Tariff Policy Takes Two or Three Turns

As of mid-May 2025, looking at the US Trump administration’s two-turns in tariff policy, I thought the world (economic structure) had changed when they started imposing tariffs on Canada/Mexico (March 4), but I have come to feel that the mood is not so bad after all. I now feel that it may not be so after all.
President Trump has launched a bold tariff policy with the intention of changing the world, but looking at the market (stock market, etc.), it appears that he has finally understood how difficult it would be to do so.

I am concerned that the sense of unity among the three North American countries in the manufacturing industry that has existed to date is beginning to fade.
In terms of the state of the city after the inauguration of the Trump administration, while Mexico, which is highly economically dependent on the U.S., has continued life as usual with no notable anti-U.S. sentiment, Canada, which emphasizes its equal standing, gave the impression of a growing anti-U.S. consciousness.
In Canada, since the U.S. decided to impose tariffs, many supermarkets have changed their displays (all products in the store) to make it clear that the products are made in Canada, and U.S.-based fast food restaurants have clearly stated “owned and operated by a Canadian company” on their signs,
This shows that consumers are seriously shifting away from the U.S.
