Three barriers to technology commercialization
With an awareness of the issue of “How can R&D departments advance the commercialization of technology?
The “Technology Marketing White Paper 2025,” a survey of executives in charge of planning and strategy in research and technology divisions, has been released.
The survey revealed that companies that engage in “technology marketing” are more likely to develop new businesses that originate from technology.
In addition, it also revealed that there are “three barriers” that hinder the commercialization of technology.
<The three barriers to technology commercialization are
(1) The need for technology marketing is felt, but not addressed.
(2) Inability to identify a new industry or area to enter
(3) Inability to get approval for ideas
In this issue, we will discuss how to overcome these three barriers from a company that has defined and implemented a system to continue creating new markets, such as the Sanshin Activity and the Global Niche Top™ strategy.
We will discuss how to overcome these three barriers with executives and managers in charge of technology planning, technology strategy formulation, and new business development at a major manufacturing company, as well as managers in charge of technology planning and R&D departments who feel the challenges of technology-driven new business development,
This seminar is recommended for those who are in charge of technical planning, R&D, intellectual property, business development, and marketing departments.
In promoting technology-driven business development, how can the R&D and marketing departments build a common understanding and cooperative framework to accelerate new business?
Please join us with your colleagues and other interested parties as an opportunity to gain hints on how to overcome the “three walls” that hinder technology commercialization, and as an opportunity to gather colleagues for the practice of technology marketing.
