The Children’s Eco Festival is held to learn about the SDGs through games and crafts

The Environmental ISO Student Committee of Chiba University National University Corporation and Keiyo Bank, Ltd. have been jointly implementing the eco project since 2017 to achieve the SDGs.

The project aims to raise environmental awareness among many people in Chiba Prefecture, including Keiyo Bank employees, business partners, local residents and students of Chiba University, with the aim of contributing to reducing local environmental impact and raising environmental awareness, with the aim of achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The campaign is aimed at many people in Chiba Prefecture, including employees, business partners, local residents and students of Chiba University. As part of these activities, a ‘Children’s Eco Festival’ will be held at the Chiba Minato Headquarters of Keiyo Bank on 23 November (Thursday, national holiday) for local children to learn about the SDGs through games and crafts. The event allows children to learn about the SDGs by making crafts using familiar items such as milk cartons, T-shirts, plastic bottles and cosmetics, as well as by playing bowling and board games. In addition to promoting children’s understanding of the SDGs and fostering their ecological awareness, the completed works can be taken home and enjoyed as daily necessities or playthings.
