Trends in Recycling of Automotive Plastics: Circular Economy in Other Countries and Japan’s Direction

Japan already has product-specific recycling laws, and in the automotive field, appropriate recycling and processing is already underway in accordance with the Automotive Recycling Law.
On the other hand, the structure and materials of automobiles themselves are changing in response to the carbon neutrality and marine waste plastic issues, and it is necessary to change the approach to recycling end-of-life products in order to transform the formation of a recycling-oriented society.
