Efficient and reliable development of vehicles for “Hybrid eCall” and “NG eCall” in Europe

In Europe, “NG eCall,” a vehicle-mounted emergency call system that uses 4G (LTE) communication networks, will become mandatory in January 2026.
Meanwhile, there is a growing need for “Hybrid eCall,” which can be used with 2G and 3G communication networks that are still in operation in addition to 4G.

We have started selling the “Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) Simulator,” which is necessary for the development of an in-vehicle system (IVS) that supports “Hybrid eCall.
Combined with a 2G/3G/4G compatible cellular base station simulator, the “Hybrid eCall” environment can be reproduced at development sites in Japan.
This makes it possible to efficiently and reliably advance the development of compatible vehicles.
